Taking the funnel to Instagram…

If you were to take that classic funnel over to instagram, the journey looks a little like this…

  1. Your audience discovers your content (probably on the explore or reels explore page)

  2. They hit the follow button

  3. They start consistently engaging with your content

  4. They dive deeper into your relationship, checking our your links and jumping into your DMs (most likely from your stories!)

  5. The purchase from you - hooray!

  6. They share their experience with your business and become and advocate. They repurchase. They are the best ❤️

In order to do this, you will need to…

  1. Provide value packed content - you need to grab their attention with something that matters to them specifically.

  2. You must have a clear value proposition - this means when they get to your profile they have a clear reason to follow you.

  3. You must build a relationship with them. This doesn’t mean you need to be having deep and meaningful individual conversations with every follower - it can be done through content as well as DM and comment responses!

  4. Your audience must find a product solution fit. This means they see what you are selling, and they understand why its (and your brand) are a great fit for them.

  5. Create a seamless off-instagram sales experience. The more friction, the less sales!

  6. Turn your customers into nano-influencers, telling their friends, family and followers all about you and your brand!
